About Studio Oak Cliff
Studio Oak Cliff is a neighborhood dance studio in the heart of Oak Cliff. Kids classes ages 2 through teen, adult drop-ins, and Oak Cliff Dance Co. — our audition-based performing company.
Our Story
Built from the neighborhood up
Founder Melissa Hunsaker spent years building a dance program from scratch at a public charter school in Oak Cliff, growing it to over 200 dancers. Studio Oak Cliff opened to give the same training — real technique, real stage time — to any dancer in the community who wanted it.
What We Teach
Ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, contemporary
Age-appropriate classes from toddler combos through teen technique. Company dancers train year-round for competitions, community shows, and our own spring production.
